Description
Chlamydia affect the urethra in men, the cervix in women and is one of the most common STDs on earth. It is also recognized as a major cause of pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility in women.
Symptoms
Chlamydia doesn't have openly notable symptoms, you may have this STD and have no clue. When a man experience symptoms he will have a watery or milky discharge from the urethra as well as painful urination. Women who actually show symptoms will feel discomfort when urinating, however women often do not experience any symptoms.
Chlamydia can cause light bleeding between periods, this bleeding is a possible indication that the infection has spread to the uterus. If you have an anal infection you may note discomfort and the production of an anal discharge. If not detected and treated there may be serious complications for the infected individual, Including infection of the appendix, heart, liver and infertility.
Transmission
Chlamydia Trachomatis (which cause chlamydia) lives inside healthy living cells, which it then kills. It spreads with the bodily exchange of infected fluids.
Treatment
