Description

CICs are monthly injections of the hormones estrogen and progestin, while PICs are injections administered once every two or three months (depending on the brand). Both of theys two types of contraceptives work by suppressing ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus and keeping the lining of the uterus in its thin unfertile stage.

Directions
