Hand Massage

Your hands are the most advanced part of the body, controlled by long tendons and muscles that extend down from the elbows. These tendons and muscles go through tightly fit paths through the bones in the wrist and this is why your hands and wrist become stressed.

When the ‘path’ contracts it will put pressure on the three major nerves of the arm causing carpal tunnel syndrome, a disorder that is caused by repetitive movements and will cause stress to the hand and wrist.

Hand Massage Tips and Tricks

You can massage a hand best by simply using your fingers, and if you use your thumbs be soft so you don't strain the palm of the hand your massaging.

Have them sit or lay back in any position you can both be comfortable, and then take their hand in hand and start to it.

If you want to give a "sensual hand massage" then use some kissing, licking and sucking of their fingers, palm, and thumb, but remember that starting with this tends to make things feel rushed for your partner.

Remember, a good massage can turn into days of relief for your partner, So go slow and take your time.

Always start on one side of the hand and work your way around to the other, or you can work on the hand in parts focusing on the fingers, palm, back of the hand, thumbs.

Thats the Rub

This hand massage is laughably simple, just take one of their hands between both oof yours and slowly (with their hand in the middle) start "rubbing your hands to geather". This does require a massage oil, and you can slowly pick up the speed as your partner is comfortable. We recomend you start with this as it will warm their hand as well as your own.

Thumbs up

Hold your partners hand with both hands like you would when holding a play station control pad and use your thumbs to perform the massage. Remember to apply firmer pressure to the palm and that the back of the hand requires a light touch. This is a great way to knead their palm and stretch it open, or to lightly run your thumbs in between small bones of the back of the hand.

Bend and Stretch

Start by supporting their hand with on of yours, and then lay your fingers against their at a 90 degree angle their fingers. From here you can gently press their fingers back softly before bending them the other way to curl their fingers. Remember to be slow, soft, and gentle.

Finger squeeze

A simple massage to perform, you can even do it to your self right now this second! Make a fist with on hand and with the same hand, stick out one finger. With the other hand grasp the finger and squeeze.... simple right? You can also use this to gently pull push and bend.

You are now an expert on the Finger Squeeze and can use it safly on others.

Key Grip

Much like the finger squeeze, but now hold your finger like your holding a key, (with your thumb resting on your forefinger). From here you can knead the flesh of the finger with your thumb you can make small rotations up and down the length of the finger and all the way around. You can also massage each finger using a forward and back motion with your thumb.

You can also use this grip to pull the finger, simply pull the finger away from the knuckle gently, make a very minor twisting motion (as if you were turning a doorknob).

Handshake

Take your right hand and "shake the hand of their left, stop pushing your hands together when the flesh between your thumb and finger meets theirs. Now your thumb is resting on the meaty part of the thumb/palm, simply massage the area with your thumb. You can also reach your thumb toward the depression in the center of the palm and rub.
